Normalized Software Systems at FIT CTU

1 minute

Normalized Software Systems (NSS) continues to be part of the curriculum at the Faculty of Information Technology, Czech Technical University (FIT CTU) in Prague, where the course has been taught since 2015 in collaboration with the University of Antwerp and NSX. This year, 89 students enrolled to explore the principles of NS, gain insight into combinatorial effects and system (in)stability, and understand the practical implications of the theory through examples and tooling. As a fruitful highlight of the course, Prof. Mannaert and Prof. Verelst will visit Prague for a Q&A session with the students and to meet with master’s and PhD students working on NS-related research projects. It can be expected that several students will pursue NS-related master’s theses, but more importantly, we believe all participants will leave the course with valuable knowledge they can apply in their future work.
