NS Expanders: IFML and Elm
As part of his PhD research, our member Jan Slifka has been Bridging IFML and Elm Applications via a Normalized Systems Expander. The paper was published in the Proceedings of the 20th International Conference on Software Technologies (ICSOFT 2025) and presents a novel approach to connecting the Interaction Flow Modeling Language (IFML) with the Elm programming language using a Normalized Systems Expander. This work aims to enhance the interoperability between these two technologies, allowing developers to leverage the strengths of both IFML for modeling user interactions and Elm for building robust web applications. The research contributes to the field of software engineering by providing a framework for integrating different modeling and programming paradigms, ultimately improving the development process and the quality of software applications. Congratulations to Jan on this significant contribution!
