Evolvable APIs: Initial Paper

Member of our lab, Nikolas Jíša, recently published a paper titled “Towards Evolvable APIs through Ontological Analysis” and presented in during this year’s Conference on Computer Science and Intelligence Systems (FedCSIS 2024). The paper explores the concept of evolvable APIs, which are designed to adapt and evolve over time without breaking existing functionality. The research focuses on using ontological analysis to identify and manage changes in APIs, ensuring that they remain functional and compatible with existing systems. This work contributes to the field of software engineering by providing insights into how APIs can be designed for long-term sustainability and adaptability in a rapidly changing technological landscape.
